3545028 - 2H 2024 Release Issue - "Career Aspiration"/"Career Goals" (background-element id="preferredNextMove") field does not pull value in Talent Card

Symptom

  • In the Calibration Talent Card, the "Career Aspiration"/"Career Goals" (background-element id="preferredNextMove") field does not display any data.
  • Despite data being present in the user's Employee Profile, the Talent Card in the Calibration area shows "No record found" in the Career Aspiration section.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the system.
  2. Navigate to Calibration from the Home menu.
  3. Open the calibration session.
  4. Open the Talent Card of a specific user.
  5. Observe that the "Career Aspiration"/"Career Goals" section displays "No record found", even though data is present in the user's Employee Profile.

    The "Career Aspiration"/"Career Goals" field is configured as below in the Data Model XML:

Cause

The issue has been identified as a release issue.

Resolution

A patch fix (b2411p6) has been scheduled for Preview instances on 26-Nov-24 1:30 AM UTC and Production instances on 28-Nov-24 12:30 PM UTC.
