3545080 - Empty Posting Date Field in Sales Order Volume Report

The Sales Order Volume Report is not providing the required information for the order posting date field. User would like a "Sales Order Posting Date" field showing in the Sales Order Volume Report.

 SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to Business Analytics.
2. In Designed Report, search for the report "Sales Order Volume".
3. Open "Sales Order Volume" report.
4. Order posting date field is empty.

The "Posting Date" field is not available in this report, which is the designed behavior of the SAP Business ByDesign system. 

As a workaround, consider adding the "Calendar Day" from the View tab. This field is determined based on the Posting Date in Sales Orders.

Alternatively, add the "Created Date" from the View tab. The system automatically enters the Created Date for the Posting Date in a Sales Order. Note that the user can manually edit the Posting Date, so these fields may have different values in a sales order.
