Symptom
Auto Logon check box in the Client Side Outlook Add-In gets regularly reset.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Outlook
- Click on "Log On" in Client Side Add-In
- Enable Check Box "Remember my user name and password" and "Auto Logon"
- Click on Logon
- Perform Actions with the Add-In
- Log Off
- Check Boxes are not Enabled any more
Cause
If both checkboxes ("Remember my username and Password" and "Auto Logon") are selected, the user will automatically be logged into the Add-in upon reopening Outlook after logging in and closing it. However, clicking the "Logoff" button within the Add-in will disable the "Auto Logon" option.
Resolution
This is the system expected behavior.
