3545651 - HANA Database Recovery Fails With Error "Restoring an LSS backup is not possible with SSFS"

Symptom

Attempting a HANA recovery using data backups sourced from a different HANA database, but the process fails with the following error:

Could not recover database <SID>
RECOVER DATA finished with error: 
 recovery could not be completed, 
 Error while restoring secure store from /hana/shared/<SID>/HDB00/backup/data/DB_<SID>/COMPLETE_DATA_BACKUP_databackup_0_1, 
 Restoring an LSS backup is not possible with SSFS
Error while starting recovery: SAP DBTech JDBC: [448]: recovery could not be completed: [110165] Error while restoring secure store from 
/hana/shared/<SID>/HDB00/backup/data/DB_<SID>/COMPLETE_DATA_BACKUP_databackup_0_1, [301185] Restoring an LSS backup is not possible with SSFS
