3545728 - INC communication between coordinator and secondary failed due to : Database server not found, SQLCODE=-1004012 - SAP IQ

Symptom

In multiplex server environment, when tried to add temp dbspace for secondary server:

  • ALTER DBSPACE IQ_SYSTEM_TEMP ADD FILE IQ_SYSTEM_TEMP_w1  '.../writer1.iqtmp' SIZE 200
  • Then failed with error:
    • Could not execute statement.
        INC communication between coordinator and secondary failed due to :
        Database server not found
        -- (dblib/db_iqddl.cxx 945)
        SQLCODE=-1004012, ODBC 3 State="HY000"
