3545734 - User Name Format Changed in Learning > Class > Registration tab

• The user name format in SAP SuccessFactors Learning has unexpectedly changed from Last Name → First Name to First Name → Last Name in some locales.
• Previously all users' name format are controlled by label ID format.FirstName.LastName. 
• The issue only impacts the users who have PERSONG_GUID synced to Learning.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access Learning >
2. Search for a specific Class ID > Click the Registration tab >
3. Observe that the user name is displayed in the First Name → Last Name order despite that the label value of label format.FirstName.LastName is changed to {1}{0}.

This is due to General Display Name feature is automatically enabled after 2H 2024 release.

• If General Display Name feature is enabled in BizX, Learning will take the name format defined in General Display Name.
• If General Display Name feature is not enabled in BizX, Learning will take the name format defined in label ID 'label format.FirstName.LastName'.
• Please note that General Display Name will be upgraded universally after 1H 2025 release.
