3546116 - Publishing Compensation data to Employee Central fails with Centralized Services Enabled

Symptom

When attempting to publish data for an employee's with Centralized Services enabled in Company Settings under Actions for all Plans, the process fails to publish Compensation details to Employee Central and throws an error saying "Unexpected Failure".

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Compensation Home
  2. Open a template and go to Complete Compensation Cycle
  3. Run the publish and check job response -> Unexpected Failure

Cause

Resolution

This is a known issue and it is currently under investigation by Engineering team. Please follow this KBA for updates and timeline on the fix.
