3547095 - "Expected Value" field is not editable in "Manage Project Demand" app

Symptom

  • In the "Manage Project Demand" app, when creating a demand type "Service with limit", the "Expected Value" field is not editable.
  • An error message is raised stating that "Expected Value is Mandatory" on demand creation.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2408

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open app Manage Project Demand.
  2. Create a Service demand with Demand Type "Service with Limit".
  3. Mandatory field "Expected Value" is not open for edit.

If the user has selected "Request On Save", they will receive error message "Expected Value is mandatory" when clicking "Create".

Cause

The issue is caused by a program error.

Resolution

The issue is solved in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2502.

In the meantime, the user can switch Demand Type from "Service with Limit" to "Service" and then back to "Service with Limit" in order to open the "Expected Value" field for edit.
