When the tax code is adjusted in the new sales area, it is also automatically updated in the previously created sales area.

1. Open the "Manage Customer Master Data" app.
2. Maintain a sales area with the tax code 0.
3. Create another sales area and maintain the tax code 1.
4. Go back to the first sales area, the tax code is updated to 1 instead of the initial 0.

The system's standard behavior is to update the tax classification of a country for a sales area, and if it is customized for another assigned sales area, it will be updated automatically for that other assigned sales area.
