3547287 - The Order Quantity is confirmed when there's no stock for Consignment Issue

When creating a Consignment Issue order (order type CCIS), the confirmed quantity is the same as the order quantity, even though there is no sufficient consignment stock for the customer.

Missing configuration.

The correct business partner have not been maintained for this customer sales area and neither in the header or item level of the Consignment Issue order. Therefore, the system is not checking the availability on the consignment stock, but on the regular material stock.

There are two possible ways to maintain this partner function:

• Maintain the partner function SB (Special Stk Partner) in the relevant customer master record for the relevant sales area.
• In the Consignment Issue order, add the partner function SB on header or item level in the partner tab.
