Symptom
Requirements of curricula self-assigned or assigned by admin/supervisor are not visible at the user's homepage when the New Learning Experience is enabled.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Cause
In order to be displayed to the users, make sure the requirements have both the Initial Assignment and the Effective Date values configured. Without these settings, the requirement has no required date and hence is considered optional. Since optional entities assigned through curricula are currently not supported, the users can't see this assignment at the Learning homepage.
Resolution
To configure the Initial Assignment and/or Effective Date values, proceed as below:
- At Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Curricula >
- Search for the affected curriculum's record > open the record >
- Navigate to the Contents tab > Manage Content > edit the requirements as needed > Save.
Alternatively, to have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it (as per KBA 2090228), where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
