3547356 - SAPSA user 'sapsa' is missing 'replication_role' in at least one replicated database

Symptom

  • saphostctrl -function ListDatabases returning the following:

    Instance name: ***, Hostname: ***, Vendor: SYB, Type: syb, Release: 16.0.04.04
      Database name: ***, Status: Error
        Component name: Client (SYBASE Server Client Software), Status: Running (SAP ASE Server client software is configured properly.)
        Component name: Server (SYBASE Server Software), Status: Running (The database server is running and configured properly.)
        Component name: Database (SYBASE Server Database), Status: Error (SAPSA user 'sapsa' is missing 'replication_role' in at least one replicated database)
        Component name: Backup Server (SYBASE Backup Server Software), Status: Running (Backup Server is running.)
        Component name: Job Scheduler (SYBASE Job Scheduler), Status: Running (Job Scheduler is running.)

  • The database is not configured to be replicated.
