3547391 - Hierarchy CDS extraction: Data and structure mismatch between SAP Datasphere and S/4HANA

Symptom

  • After importing the remote table IFICOSTCENTERHN from the S4 system into Datasphere, the table structure appears significantly different from its definition in the CDS View. Certain fields such as PARENTNODE, HIERARCHYVERSION, SEQUENCENUMBER are missing.
  • The data count in DataSphere table is also inconsistent with the S4 system.
  • Even source CDS IFICOSTCENTERHN (I_COSTCENTERHIERARCHYNODE) has many data records, still testing hierarchy CDS extraction via report RODPS_REPL_TEST returns 0 hierarchy data
