3547849 - Unable to search organizations by their description during the creation of custom cards

The admin is unable search Organizations by their Description during the creation of custom cards.

The Organizations can only be searched using their ID.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Login to SuccessFactors BIZX-> Access Learning Administration
2. Navigate to Application Administration-> Custom Cards-> Fill and select the required details-> Next 
3. In the Step 4, Select Target Group as 'Organization IDs'-> Able to search the Organizations with their ID, but NOT with their Description.

Due to the dependency on API support and technical limitations on UI5 Select Dialog, the Organizations are currently unable to search by their Description during the creation of custom cards. 

After a thorough verification and testing on the backend code, it has been determined that due to the dependency on API supported and technical limitations on UI5 Select Dialog (this is in line with UX recommendations towards which components are to be used as per SAP standards to ensure consistency and performance), the Organizations are currently unable to search by their Description during the creation of custom cards. 

• However, our Engineering team are planning to enhance this API in the future. This enhancement will support some filters which may help to search with descriptions. At this time, they haven't provided a specific timeframe for when this will be implemented.
• In the meantime, we recommend you to raise this as an enhancement request by referring to the KBA - 2090228. This will allow the team to review and consider including it in future releases of LMS based on the priority and votes of the request. 

The following can be used as a workaround:

• Keeping the Organization ID and Description same, it becomes searchable.
• Including the Organization ID in the Description's brackets, it becomes searchable.
