After Talent Intelligence Hub upgrade Role based permissions to View Growth Portfolio or TIH attributes are enabled by default
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub
SAP SuccessFactors Growth Portfolio
Reproducing the Issue
- The system is Successfully upgraded to Talent Intelligence Hub
- Navigate to Manage Permission Roles
- Check a relevant Role
- Notice that the Growth Portfolio permissions are enabled by default as well as TIH attributes permissions
- Go to Manage Talent Intelligence Hub and notice that Growth portfolio is not enabled in the system
Cause
There were permissions granted to view competencies in Center of capabilities and Capability portfolio was enabled and permissioned before the Talent Intelligence Hub upgrade.
Resolution
This is expected behavior:
- if there were permissions granted to view Competencies in Center of Capabilities these permissions will be migrated to Talent Intelligence Hub along with the upgrade.
- if Capabilities Portfolio is enabled and there were permissions granted to access it, these permissions will be migrated to the Growth Portfolio along with the Talent Intelligence Hub upgrade.
Please change the relevant roles to withdraw Growth Portfolio permissions, if necessary.
