Symptom
- The Inbound Delivery Notification document becomes inconsistent when the iStock is updated.
- An error message is displayed stating "The product specifications for the item ID and the PO must match."
- The updated iStock is not mapped to the product specification (PRS) which was requested in the relevant Purchase Order.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
- Navigate to the Inbound Delivery Notifications view.
- Search and select the relevant delivery notification.
- Choose the Action.
- Navigate to the Line Item and change the iStock. Ensure this iStock is mapped to a PRS id which is not the PRS requested via the relevant PO.
- Save the document.
Cause
- In the 2411 upgrade, the system behavior was enhanced to ensure that the product specification received in the warehouse is the same as the product specification requested in the purchase order.
- This enhancement was implemented to ensure that warehouse confirmations are posted without issues in accounting.
- The Inbound Delivery Notification document will be inconsistent to ensure that the product specification requested in the purchase order is received in the warehouse.
Resolution
- Make the Inbound Delivery Notification consistent by updating the product specification which was requested in the purchase order.
- The document can be processed once the notification is consistent.
