3548354 - Is it possible to delete Survey Responses in C4C?

It is desired to know if it is possible to delete the Survey responses / answers in UI, via Data Workbench, backend or any other way.

It is not possible to massively delete the answers of individual questions in the Survey once it is completed.

This is the expected system design.

However, to delete them one by one, there is a process to follow. Before checking the steps, please note:

• Only completed Surveys in Visits can be deleted using the delete icon.
• Answers of individual questions in the Survey cannot be deleted.

The steps:

1. Go to Visits  > open a Visit.
2. Go to Surveys facet.
3. Select the completed Survey → the Survey can be deleted from the Visit using delete button.
4. Then all the answers of this Survey related to this Visit will be lost.

 

Depending on the number of records to be deleted, it can be hard to perform the workaround above. However, there is no way to delete it massively. In backend this would not be possible to run in a single attempt, as deleting them will cause error messages due to possible dependencies to check first, such as the Survey status.
