3548515 - Hide Visibility After Document Transfer Function is not working after manager change - Performance Management

The Hide Visibility After Document Transfer function is not working as expected for completed/en route forms when the manager is changed to NO Manager and then change to a new manager.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

1. Send form to manager's completed/en route folder.
2. Change the user's manager to NO Manager via import job history.
3. Confirm the data is synced from EC to EP
4. Add a new manager for the user, and confirm the data is synced from EC to EP
5. The completed form is sent to the new manager, but the old manager still has visibility.
6. The en-route form is not sent to the new manager and the old manager still has visibility.

Resolution

This is current system behavior.

When the old manager or new manager is set as NO MANAGER, the hide visibility and document transfer function produce different behaviors for different folders (inbox, enroute, completed).

Inbox forms, the form is transferred to new manager and the visibility of old manager is hidden.
En route forms, the form is not transfer to new manager and the visibility of old manager is not hidden.
Completed forms, the form is transferred to new manager, but the visibility of old manager is not hidden.

Workaround:
Please do not change manager to NO MANAGER. Changing from old manager to new manager directly, the document transfer and hide visibility function is working for inbox, Enroute, Completed forms. The form will be transferred, and the visibility of old manager will be hidden.

If your business needs to change to NO MANAGER and then add the new manager, please use below tools to manually transfer to new manager or hide visibility.
For En route forms, please use Transfer Forms to New Manager tool to transfer En route form to new manager. 
For completed forms, please use Manage Document Visibility tool to hide the visibility manually.
