3548537 - Refused to connect - Embedded Analytics - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

"analytics.cloud.sap refused to connect" error.
"It seems your profile is not configured for this system" error.
Affected applications:
- Manage KPIs and Reports
- Aging Report for Accounts Payable
- Customer Returns Overview
- Order to Cash Dashboard
- Purchasing Spend Dashboard
- ...

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

This issue usually happens because the users have not been provisioned to the embedded SAP Analytics Cloud tenant.

Resolution

User provisioning needs to be done from source application (S4-my123456-source) to target application (SAC-my123456-target).

Please ask the IAS administrator to do the following in the IAS tenant:

Run a new job in the Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) to synchronize the user.
If only certain users are failing, assure that the user is in validity period in S/4HANA user record and the source system for the person record.

In case there are doubts about the resolution step "run a new job": In IPS UI go to Source Systems > select the source > click on Jobs tile > run a sync job. This is the way how to run a job in IPS.
