3548749 - Issue with Read Access for Registered Products in SAP Service Cloud Version 2

• Users encounter the error message: "You are not authorized to change the data" when accessing the Related Entities tab in a case.
• The Registered Product section is not visible under the Related Entities tab.

SAP Service Cloud Version 2 1.0

1. Open any case.
2. Navigate to the Related Entities tab.
3. Observe the following:
   • The error message "You are not authorized to change the data" appears.
   • The Registered Product section is not displayed.

Observed Behavior:
The Registered Product section is not visible under the Related Entities tab for users with read-only access in the assigned role.

Incorrect configuration

Ensure the following configurations are in place:

1. Verify that the application for Registered Product is enabled.
   1. Go to Settings -> Roles
   2. Open the desired Business Role (that has been assigned to the affected user)
   3. Go to App List, and search for Registered Product (sap.crm.service.registeredProductService) 
      • When enabled, the Registered Product section will appear under the Case > Related Entities tab.
      • If disabled, the Registered Product section will NOT appear under the Case > Related Entities tab.
      • Change this according to your business requirements
2. Check the role settings for Registered Product:
   • Navigate to the assigned role configuration and locate the role for Registered Product (service: sap.crm.service.registeredProductService).
   • Ensure that Write Access is NOT set to "No Access".
     • If set to No Access, the system will trigger an insufficient write access error.
     • Change accordingly.
