Symptom

When configuring Flexible Billing Document Numbering, the BILLINGDOCUMENTTYPE parameter is not recognized. The error "BILLINGDOCUMENTTYPE parameter is not a formula parameter." is displayed.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to SSCUI 103306 - Define Formulas for Flexible Billing Document Numbering 
  2. Try assign the BILLINGDOCUMENTTYPE parameter as in the Assign Parameter Priority step
  3. The error message is displayed

Cause

The BILLINGDOCUMENTTYPE parameter is missing.

Resolution

Please, add the BILLINGDOCUMENTTYPE parameter as a formula parameter in the Assign Formula Parameters step - SSCUI 103306 Define Formulas for Flexible Billing Document Numbering.
