3549382 - Retaining assessment information from assessment provider after customer contract has ceased

Symptom

Guidelines on disabling a third-party assessment vendor integration, while preserving historical assessment data.

Resolution

It is strongly recommended to archive all historical data for an assessment vendor via Ad-Hoc Reports and Integration Center prior to disabling any integration(s).

You should consider the following steps for disabling an integration with a third party provider. You should also consult the specific third-party vendor's documentation on this topic, since each integration is different.

  1. Remove assessment related Role Based Permissions for any API users involved in the process. The feature-permission assessmentIntegration is the key requirement to show the assessment portlet - so users with this permission should retain it to ensure they can continue to view this portlet.
  2. Disable any Vendor settings in the Assessment Vendor(s) and Oauth2 Client Application(s).
  3. Delete any Event Notification Subscription(s).
  4. Disable any assessment Email template(s).
  5. Set any Assessment Derived field to read-only.
  6. Remove any assessment configuration from the Job Requisition template.
