Symptom
Guidelines on disabling a third-party assessment vendor integration, while preserving historical assessment data.
Environment
- SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
- Third-party assessment vendor
Resolution
It is strongly recommended to archive all historical data for an assessment vendor via Ad-Hoc Reports and Integration Center prior to disabling any integration(s).
You should consider the following steps for disabling an integration with a third party provider. You should also consult the specific third-party vendor's documentation on this topic, since each integration is different.
- Remove assessment related Role Based Permissions for any API users involved in the process. The feature-permission assessmentIntegration is the key requirement to show the assessment portlet - so users with this permission should retain it to ensure they can continue to view this portlet.
- Disable any Vendor settings in the Assessment Vendor(s) and Oauth2 Client Application(s).
- Delete any Event Notification Subscription(s).
- Disable any assessment Email template(s).
- Set any Assessment Derived field to read-only.
- Remove any assessment configuration from the Job Requisition template.
