3549412 - Manager cannot assign themself as an observer for a subordinate item under Team View in ILX

While using the Integrated Learning Experience (ILX) home a manager cannot use the select observer for any subordinate task item and search for themselves to be used.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Ensure an item with task is assigned to a subordinate >
2. As manager use the (legacy home) My Team > Select Observer and search for yourself (teh mgr) being available to select >
3. Switch to ILX view and under Team View > Select Observer and note you cannot search for yourself to select.

Observer API response in ILX not returning self when logged in as manager.

Workarounds:

• End user to utilize select observer for/as manager.
• Admin to assign observer.
• Manager to use toggle to switch to legacy homepage to self-select.
