Symptom

  • "Invalid moduleId" error while creating custom task if system language is Chinese, Japaness, Korean, etc.
  • If system language (e.g. English, Dutch, etc.) has the picklist label under "Module" still as "Onboarding/Offboarding", then will have no error. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Change system language to Chineses/Japanese/Korean, etc.
  2. Go to Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks > Task Settings > Manage Custom Tasks > Add New Task
  3. Select Module and maintain all necessary configuration > click Done > see error "Invalid moduleId"
  4. Change system language to English/Dutch, etc.
  5. Custom task can be created without error

Resolution

Fix date is not yet decided for the known error. Latest information will be updated into this KBA.

In case need to track/nudge on the fix, kindly contact your Customer Success Partner (CSP) and provide this KBA to check the engineering ticket link in internal memo.


[Workaround]

Before creating custom task, change system language to e.g. English, Dutch, etc. which has the picklist label under "Module" as "Onboarding/Offboarding".
