3549635 - Change Warning message V1501 to an error message when creating a Sales order in reference to a Sales Contract in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • Warning message V1501 (Target qty of reference: &1 &2 (total referenced: &3 &4)) is issued when creating/changing an order with reference to a Quantity contract and increasing the order quantity.
  • It is expected that the system would prevent saving the order but no error message is raised.
  • There is a requirement to change this message from a warning message to an error message.
