3549697 - HTTP 404 while accessing CMC and BI Launchpad

Symptom

  • While accessing the CMC and BI Launchpad user is getting Http 404 error
  • In the tomcat logs it is observed:
    SEVERE [http-nio-8080-exec-139] org.apache.coyote.AbstractProtocol$ConnectionHandler.process Failed to complete processing of a request
        java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Metaspace
    SEVERE [main] org.apache.catalina.util.LifecycleBase.handleSubClassException Failed to initialize component [Connector[HTTP/1.1-8080]]
        org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: Protocol handler initialization failed
        Caused by: java.net.BindException: Address already in use ((port:8080))
