3549766 - Incorrect Date Registration for Absence Request in Mobile

Symptom

  • When attempting to request a vacation via the mobile application, the system registers the start and end dates as one day prior to the selected dates.
  • For instance, when selecting December 2 as the start date, the system registers it as December 1. Similarly, when selecting December 6 as the end date, the system registers it as December 5.
  • This discrepancy also affects the total number of requested days, which is recorded as 4 instead of 5.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy into any user.
  2. Navigate to the time off section and attempt to register an absence.
  3. Notice that when entering the start date (e.g., December 2), the system registers the date before (December 1). Similarly, when selecting the end date (e.g., December 6), the system registers the day before (December 5).

Resolution

  1. This issue has been rectified and the defect will be resolved via the patch scheduled for 9th Dec 2024.
  2. Update the SuccessFactors app to version 13.0.2 once the update is available to resolve the issue.
