Symptom
- ISSUE 1: When completing the Voluntary Self ID Veteran Status compliance forms, it states that "I belong to the following classifications of protected veterans (choose all that apply):". However, the candidate can only click one option and cannot select more than one option.
- ISSUE 2: When completing the Voluntary Self ID Veteran Status compliance forms, the Employee ID number field is editable, and the employee can change it. Is it possible to make it 'View Only' field?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Login as the candidate
- Go to 'Your Onboarding Checklist'
- Find the Voluntary Self ID Veteran status compliance form
- Notice that the Employee ID number is editable
- Notice that in the "I belong to more than one classifications of a protected veteran" the candidate can only select one option even though it states to select all that apply.
Cause
- CAUSE 1: This is a known issue and the Product Team already worked on a fix to solve it.
- CAUSE 2: It is expected that Employee login is editable on the form, and cannot be set as a View Only field.
Resolution
- SOLUTION 1: A code-fix has been introduced by the Engineering Team and was deployed between the last week of November.
- Internal Ticket Number: SCP-73601
- SOLUTION 2: At present, it is not possible to change the Employee ID visibility on the form. It is expected to be editable and it only edits the value on the form.
