3549842 - The value of "Date of Manufacture" and "SLED/BBD" can't be edited when confirming a production order

When making confirmation for production order or process order, in goods movement overview, the value of field "Date of Manufacture" and "SLED/BBD" can't be edited at the same time.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create production order or process order in Create Production Order app.
2. Make confirmation for production order or process order in 'Confirm Production Order Operation' app (CO11n) 
3. Check and edit the value of "Date of Manufacture" and "SLED/BBD".

This is a standard system design:

1. If the shelf life expiration date check is active:
   •  If a total shelf life has been defined in the material master record. The value of "Date of Manufacture" can be edited, and the system calculates the "SLED/BBD" from the "Date of Manufacture" plus the total shelf life.
   • If no total shelf life has been defined in the material master record:
     • If a Min. Rem. Shelf Life has been defined in the material master record. The value of "SLED/BBD" can be edited.
     • If no Min. Rem. Shelf Life has been defined in the material master record. The value of "SLED/BBD" and  "Date of Manufacture" can't be edited.
2. If the shelf life expiration date check isn't active:
   • The value of "SLED/BBD" and  "Date of Manufacture" can't be edited.

To maintain the value of "Date of Manufacture" and "SLED/BBD" at the same time, consider maintaining them in 'Change Batch' app firstly. Then, make confirmation for production order or process order.
