3550008 - Product is created outside defined external number range - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

It is possible to create a material via app MM01 with a material number falling outside of the external number range defined in SSCUI Define Attributes of Material Types.

In SSCUI Define Attributes of Material Types, for the relevant material type, the 'external no. assignment w/o check' flag is marked. 

When this indicator is flagged, the system does not check the entered material number on screen against the defined number range for material type.

Unflag the External no. assignment w/o check indicator in SSCUI Define Attributes of Material Types for the relevant material type to make sure materials are created in the defined number range.
