Symptom

The below error is encountered while attempting to upload a bank statement in the CAMT.053.001.02 format using the 'Manage Incoming Payment Files' app:
"Choice IBANorOthr (N00600236518) does not contain enough nodes. Found 0, but the minimum is 1."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open FIORI App- 'Manage Incoming Payment Files'
  2. Click on 'Import' button
  3. Select 'Bank Statement' option
  4. Click on 'upload' button and select the bank statement to be loaded
  5. Click on 'Process' button
  6. The status of the statement displays 'Error'

Cause

The input XML does not match the format mapping due to the presence of additional XML tags following the 'Othr' node. The XML tag SchmeNm is followed by 'Prtry' which is not specified in the format mapping. This discrepancy leads to the error.

Resolution

Either remove the additional tags from the input file or adjust the custom format mapping to match the input file.
