3550396 - The Values for the Ordered Revenue Forecast Field are Displayed Differently for Specific Months in the Revenue Forecast Report

When checking the Items of the Contract ABC in the Revenue Forecast report, the "Ordered Revenue Forecast" amount is displayed with a different value for one or more Months of the Item.

This usually for the First Months and Last Months of each Item.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Analytics Work Center.
2. Go to the Design Reports View.
3. Filter for All.
4. Search for the ID CRMRVFU_Q0001.
5. Select the Revenue Forecast hyperlink.
6. In the Month/Calendar Year,  remove the value "Next 6 months".
7. In the Display Currency, change from "Default Company Currency" to the currency of the Contract (where ABC represents the Contract ID).
8. In the Cancellation Status (Item), remove the value "!(4)".
9. Select Apply button.
10. Select the View icon.
11. In the Row field section, Select the "+" button.
12. In the Search field, Search for Contract.
13. Select the Checkbox for Contract.
14. Select the Checkbox for Contract Item.
15. Select Ok.
16. Select the Section Icon.
17. Select the Additional Filters option (Little Filter Icon).
18. In the Contract field, enter ABC.
19. Mark the Contract ABC.
20. Select Ok.
21. Select Apply.

The "Ordered Revenue Forecast" amount is displayed with a different value for one or more Months of the Item.

The amounts for the "Ordered Revenue Forecast" displayed for the Items of the Contract ABC in the Report "Revenue Forecast" are currently based on the Start and End Date of the Item.

Once a contract is created, the system will check the Start Date and End Date of each Item, and then will determined the "Ordered Revenue Forecast" amount by disturbing the List Price proportionally to the duration of each month.

For example, if the start date of the Item is on 31.08 and the End Date of the Item is on 30.09, the system will only consider one day for the determination "Ordered Revenue Forecast" amount in the Month of August and 31 days for the determination "Ordered Revenue Forecast" in the Month of September.

This is currently a standard system behavior.
