3550843 - Unable to add SAC subaccount or refresh certificate in Cloud Connector - SAP Analytics Cloud

The following error occurs "An authorization problem occurred when downloading the configuration. Check the spelling of the subaccount name, user, and password. See 'Log And Trace Files' and in particular ljs_trace.log for details." when trying to add an SAC subaccount in the Cloud Connector.

• SAP Analytics Cloud.
• SAP Cloud Connector.

1. Login to SAC.
2. Go to System > Administration > Data Source Configuration.
3. Copy the details under 'SAP BTP Core Account'.
4. Go to SAP Cloud Connector.
5. Add the Region, Subaccount, Subaccount User, Password.
6. Click on 'Save'.

>> Notice the error: 'An authorization problem occurred when downloading the configuration. Check the spelling of the subaccount name, user, and password. See 'Log And Trace Files' and in particular ljs_trace.log for details'.

The email ID associated with the S-user used to add the subaccount is linked to Universal ID.

In order to resolve the issue, choose one option:

• Use a S-user ID which is not linked to universal ID to add the subaccount.

          Or,

• Submit a new case under 'XX-SER-UID' to delink the existing S-user ID from Universal ID.
