3550911 - Charts with single dimension expanding/wrong width in stories after SAC upgrade

• The customer reported an issue with charts expanding horizontally in stories after a SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) upgrade.
•  This issue was noticed in the Sandbox system and is not present in the SAC Prod system.
•  The issue also occurs with new widgets in the existing story and on a new story.
•  The customer is unsure if this is expected behavior after the upgrade or a bug.

SAC Analytics Cloud Enterprise 2024.21.7

1. Go to "Remote Connection" > "Launch Remote Connection" > on /nstfk Select "ID" for customer number: "xxxx" > "Windows Terminal Server" and Server
2. Switch the system to "ID" and Check the Login Details: User and password*
3. Log into the customer system
4. Open the story of SAP Analytics Cloud System on Edge. 
5. Click in time month in the menu above > 06.2023 > 05.2023 > 04.2023
6. Repeat the same on productive
7. Click in time: "year" 
8. Click in time: "month"
9. Create a new chart there:
   1. Click on column chart > insert "number of blocked orders measure" 
   2. Change chart orientation to vertical > add "time year" in dimension >
   3. Change chart structure to "combination column and line" > add a line axis "number of blocked orders PY"

This is a bug that the development team is working on. The fix will be deployed on 2025.01.

This behavior (chart expanding horizontally) is a bug which fix is already planned for the next update (2025.01). 

As a workaround, we recommend using the optimized mode, as the classic mode will soon be deprecated.
