3551081 - Error in phase CHECK4NOTES_READTOOL_SHD2 due to missing RFC 'SAP-SUPPORT_PORTAL' and 'SAP-SUPPORT_NOTE_DOWNLOAD'

Symptom

  • During the DMO with system move, an error is encountered in phase CHECK4NOTES_READTOOL_SHD2

         1EETQ399 Last generated error message is: UPG_SET_SNOTE_DOWNLOAD_MODE failed with ''
         1EETQ204 Upgrade phase "CHECK4NOTES_READTOOL_SHD2" terminated with severe errors 

  • The function in the shadow instance directly shows the error message: "Error: RFC-Connections 'SAP-SUPPORT_PORTAL' and 'SAP-SUPPORT_NOTE_DOWNLOAD' don't exist !"
  • The RFCs 'SAP-SUPPORT_PORTAL' and 'SAP-SUPPORT_NOTE_DOWNLOAD' do not exist in the shadow instance.
