Symptom
- Department of Homeland Security can’t confirm the new hire’s work authorization.
- New hire's E-Verify Case receives a Pending Referral status.
- When uploading a PDF of the FAN, the system just continually spins and never uploads.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Find the new hire in the Onboarding dashboard.
- Navigate to "Complete E-Verify: Tentative Nonconfirmation" task
- Upload the FAN file and sent email to new hire
- Select the "I have a response from hire" option
- Choose the "resolve missing or incorrect...." option
- Click submit and the screen just spins without uploading.
Cause
Resolution
Please refer to the following steps to resolve E-Verify:
- Go to Onboarding Dashboard
- Find the candidate
- Open the details
- Click E-Verify Case Details
- Click Refresh Data
- Click Resolve Case
- The E-Verify case is closed.
