3551117 - Unable to complete "Complete E-Verify: Tentative Nonconfirmation" task - Onboarding

Symptom

  • Department of Homeland Security can’t confirm the new hire’s work authorization.
  • New hire's E-Verify Case receives a Pending Referral status. 
  • When uploading a PDF of the FAN, the system just continually spins and never uploads. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Find the new hire in the Onboarding dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Complete E-Verify: Tentative Nonconfirmation" task
  3. Upload the FAN file and sent email to new hire
  4. Select the "I have a response from hire" option
  5. Choose the "resolve missing or incorrect...." option
  6. Click submit and the screen just spins without uploading.

Cause

Resolution

Please refer to the following steps to resolve E-Verify:

  1. Go to Onboarding Dashboard
  2. Find the candidate
  3. Open the details
  4. Click E-Verify Case Details 
  5. Click Refresh Data 
  6. Click Resolve Case
  7. The E-Verify case is closed.
