How to configure the parameter 'HOOK_URL' to connect an external catalog for procurement process?

For Punchout catalog it is necessary to define the HOOK_URL and the value should be left as blank with type as Return URL. The value will be calculated at run time based on SAP server and system details and it should consider to have the value returned to this url after catalog punchout.

It is also possible to define or hard code the value of this parameter.
