3551321 - Syntax error after "BEGIN" in SAP MII

Symptom

The following syntax error message occurs while running a query in SAP MII (SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) :

"SQL error has occurred on query The SQL statement … contains the syntax error[s]: - 1:1 - Entry-SQL syntax error: a query must start with SELECT - 2:1 - SQL syntax error: "BEGIN" is a reserved keyword and cannot be used as an unquoted identifier”
