3551409 - Issue with File Retrieval in Originals Field While Adding Attachment in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• An issue is encountered while trying to create a Document Info Record (DIR) from a work order in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• The issue arises after the function has successfully worked once or twice, and then it fails in subsequent attempts.
• While selecting the same file for the second time, the file is not retrieved in original field.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open app Change Maintenance Order.
2. Click on Documents.
3. Click on Add Attachment and browse to locate a file (for example, a PDF) and then double click on it.
4. Save the work order or click on Read Only.
5. Try to add another attachment and select the same file.
6. Observe that the file is not retrieved into the Originals field.

The issue is caused by a known bug in the system where the central framework introduced a parameter to upload the same file for the second time, which was not set for the application.

1. The issue has been identified and fixed by the development team.
2. The fix will be included in the S/4HANA Public Cloud 2502 CE release.
