3551423 - Nameserver or indexserver doesn't start with exception: "Shutting service down threw ltt exception 1: no.2001006 (Basis/IO/FileAccess/impl/PathFile.cpp:197) TID: 10574 isDirectory(path= '<audit path>'): Object not found ("rc= 2)

Symptom

On attempted startup of the database, it is shutting down after a short period of time and not starting. 

In the nameserver or indexserver trace file you notice exception message similar to:

[10574]{-1}[-1/-1] 2024-11-23 02:27:54.226076 e Service_Shutdown TrexService.cpp(00749) : Shutting service down threw ltt exception  1: no.2001006  (Basis/IO/FileAccess/impl/PathFile.cpp:197) TID: 10574
    isDirectory(path= '<audit path>'): Object not found (rc= 2)
exception throw location:
 1: 0x00007fcc1e552959 in FileAccess::PathWrapper::isDirectory() const+0x425 at PathFile.cpp:197 (libhdbbasis.so)
