3551548 - Error in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) due to Invalid Planning Model

Error "MRP failed due to error: Production model for ABC DEF on DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS for quantity * not found" triggered after MRP. (ABC represents product ID; DEF represents planning area ID.)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to work center Supply Planning, access view Products.
2. Search for product ABC in supply planning area DEF. Click Open.
3. In the "Product Planning Details: ABC/DEF" screen, click "Run Planning - Multi Bom Level", then click OK. An error is triggered: Material ABC in planning area DEF planned with failures; save and check results of interactive planning log.
4. Click Save.
5. Select the "Interactive Planning Log - Results" tab. The error message is displayed.

The latest version of the planning model of product ABC in site DEF has a valid to date in the past, causing the error when executing MRP.

Change the valid to date of corresponding production model to a date in the future, then release the production model again.
