3551560 - Locking Errors When Releasing Multiple Subscription Billing Items from Solution Order in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When releasing multiple subscription billing items from the solution order, the subscriptions are created successfully in subscription billing. However, during the update of the transaction history (linking subscription ID to the solution order item), locking errors occur and can be found in the message monitor (interface /CMSRV-SOLO_UPD-00001). The error messages displayed are "An orchestration error occurred" and "Transaction &1 is being processed by user &2". The process of linking all subscriptions back takes an extended amount of time.

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a new solution order with multiple subscription billing items.
2. Release all items.
3. Check the document flow and message monitor for interface /CMSRV-SOLO_UPD-00001. Will find that not all subscriptions are linked, with locking error message "Transaction &1 is being processed by user &2".

According to the Solution Order Development team, this behavior is currently planned to be improved with CE2502. Please refer to below links for the detailed time for the CE2502:
