3551590 - Exception encountered when clicking "Create Notification" in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• An exception is encountered when the "Create Notification" button is clicked in apps "Change Technical Object" or "Display Technical Object".
• The detailed error message is "App could not be opened either due to an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad configuration or a missing role assignment".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the apps: "Display Technical Object" or "Change Technical Object".
2. Select 'You can also' -> 'Create Notification'.

The business catalogs required for the "Create Maintenance Notification" app have been deprecated since CE2302 due to the deprecation of 'Old' scope items BH1, BH2, BJ2, and the introduction of new scope items are 4HI, 4HH. See KBA 3385327 - Scope items BH1, BH2 and BJ2 cannot be activated in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition So app "Create Maintenance Notification" can no longer be accessed.

1. Use app 'Create Maintenance Request' to create maintenance notification for the technical object.
2. This app complies with the new phase model for the maintenance process. Refer to below Help documentations for more details of the phase model:
