Symptom

  • During the installation of PD Desktop, an error message is displayed:
       The license is not valid. Check your license key or verify that the server is running. 
  • The license file is an unserved standalone (SS) license.
  • The value of Host ID displayed in the setup wizard starts with DISK_SERIAL_NUM=.
