3551638 - Error /SCWM/SERIAL013 - Serial number &1 is not on Source HU - SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

• Stock is packed into HUs under one storage bin.
• Material is serial number managed.
• The warehouse task is created without source handling unit or batch number, they are required when confirming the WT.

Below error message Occurs when confirming warehouse task with APP Process Warehouse Task.

Serial number &1 is not on Source HU

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

1. Go to APP Process Warehouse Task, enter warehouse number and WT number. Go to detail page.
2. Enter the source HU and batch number. Click "0/*" for No. of serial numbers entered, search the target serial number and click enter.
3. Click "OK". Error message occurs.

Unfortunately, this functionality is not supported. It is only possible to read the corresponding serial number based on the warehouse task's source bin or source HU. Since the source HU of the warehouse task is dynamically maintained by the user, the relevant SN cannot be retrieved now.
