3551721 - "X is a Contingent Worker. X should have only ‘Y‘/’Yes‘/’T‘/’True’." Error When Importing Regular Employee After Contingent Worker Purge

Symptom

You have an employee who was hired as a Contingent Worker, but you now wish to purge them and import them as a Regular employee instead, with the same Person ID, User ID, Username, etc.. You process the soft- and hard purge processes successfully, and then proceed with the imports necessary for creating the User as a Regular employee. However, when doing the Employment Details import, you receive an error:

"X is a Contingent Worker. X should have only ‘Y‘/’Yes‘/’T‘/’True’."

Even though the soft and hard purge should have removed all reference to the User's previous data.
