3551926 - Sales Order Still Going into Approval with Deactivated Workflow

Symptom

Although the workflow has been deactivated in the "Manage Sales Document Workflows" app, the sales order still goes into approval but no notification reaches the approver's inbox.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

As long as conditions in logics within the BAdI "SD_APM_SET_APPROVAL_REASON" are met, the sales order will be sent into approval.

Resolution

  1. Go to the BAdI "SD_APM_SET_APPROVAL_REASON" via the "Custom Logic" app.
  2. Delete or deactivate the logics in the BAdI "SD_APM_SET_APPROVAL_REASON".
