3551971 - Is it possible to edit the information shown in the preview results in the People Search

Symptom

  • A request to modify the information displayed in the preview when searching for an employee in the People Search.
  • The current search results display the first and last names of the employee and the job title.
  • The requirement is to add information besides the job title with a custom field data in People Search preview results.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for an employee in the People Search.
  2. Observe that the search results display the first and last names of the employee and the job title.

Cause

Resolution

Currently it is not configurable to have additional information than the job title showing in the preview results in the People Search.
