Symptom
When attempting to import a Delivery Unit (DU) using the hdbalm command as shown below, the operation fails with either [Error 1] or [Error 2]:
hdbalm -u SYSTEM -h hostname -p 8000 -v import /tmp/Charles/REPO_20241129-030452434-HRE-SYSTEMDB--CHARLES_DB.tgz
- [Error 1]

No supported python version found.
Install the latest version of Python 3.6 or later.

After the installation of Python set the environment variable
PYTHON_HOME
to the location of the Python installation
or set the environment variable
PYTHON_EXE
to the location of the Python executable.
As an example the command (bourne shell) is
export PYTHON_HOME=/usr/python3
