3552148 - Error "Missing Authorization for Service S_PRIVILEGED" when validate S/4HANA On-Premise connection in Datasphere

When validate the S/4HANA On-Premise connection in Datasphere, below error message is displayed in the details:

Remote Tables: Unable to connect remote source: [SAP][ODBCforABAP] (08001) Open backend connection: Missing Authorization for Service S_PRIVILEGED., Code: 5921, SQL State: HY000

Cloud Connector is selected for Data Provisioning Option under Remote Tables section of S/4HANA On-Premise connection to use the ABAP SQL service to federate data with remote tables.

SAP Datasphere

1. Select the checkbox in front of the connection to S/4HANA On-Premise.
2. Click Validate button.

Lack of appropriate authority.

To enable privileged access data from external ODBC-based clients, you must create a role and add authorization objects S_START and S_SQL_VIEW to it.
